Widely embedded as the login/auth layer for many third-party apps and SaaS products, so an Auth0 outage can lock users out of many unrelated services simultaneously — the same cascading-dependency pattern as CDN/DNS outages, but for authentication specifically. Acquired by Okta in 2021 but still operates and is monitored under its own separate status page and brand.
