Light-rail system operating in downtown Rio de Janeiro since June 2016, run by Motiva (rebranded from CCR); four active lines, ~28 km, record ridership of 23.9M passengers in 2024 and 126M+ cumulative by mid-2026. Distinct mode (surface light rail) and distinct operator/parent from the heavy-rail MetrôRio concession, both in the same city. No public developer API or dedicated status page found.
